Social Media – The Rules and Role of Email
Good morning everyone. Well, fall is truly upon us here in Vancouver. The weather has turned rainy and that is what we expect at this time of year. The leaves are turning gold and orange and red and thoughts turn to moving forward with our businesses. Having read some interesting articles about how email campaigns fit with social media campaigns, I decided to spend this week talking about the rules and roles of email in your digital marketing mix.
If you are not aware of current laws regarding email or upcoming changes to Canadian regulations, then tune in later this week for more details and what it means to you and your business. Did you know that email violations could net you a fine of up to $1,000,000? I was shocked. Ignorance (of the law on this) is not bliss but potential ruin.
I’ll also put out a call to email list management companies and see what they have to say and share that information with you.
If you’re interested in this topic, why don’t you use the “Comment” link below to ask a question and I’ll see if I can’t answer it during the course of the week.
I look forward to exploring this topic with you all.
