This week I intend to address the issue of who is using social media and why. Did you know that facebook receives over 1 billion (yes, that’s 1 billion!!!) visits per month?  Numbers from Nielsen Online indicate that Twitter grew 1,382% year-over-year in February 2009.

If you think that social media is not big in Canada, I suggest you take a look at this online seminar. Even in the first few slides, you’ll see just how far social media has penetrated into the Canadian market.
